Club chairman Oliver Molloy along with PRO Pat Flavin, had the pleasant task this morning of visiting Mercy Mounthawk school to wish the players and management all the best for Saturday next as they prepare to meet Omagh CBS in the All Ireland final; in addition they made a donation to the fundraiser to help defray costs associated with the preparations.
They were welcomed by principal John O'Roarke and deputy principal Pat Fleming who expressed their gratitude not alone for the donation but the contributions to date of club players Tomás Kennedy, Jake Hoare, Odhran Kerins and Breandán Meehan.
Pat Fleming praised the character of the team, their resilience and how the Corn Uí Mhuiri final vs Tralee CBS helped them develop as a team and squad as they battled to victory.
The team is fit and raring to go and we would like to wish them the very best in their quest for ultimate glory.
