A record number of entries meant a slight delay in confirming the first-round results, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience. Sincere thanks to John O’Connor and Tom Hoare for their hard work behind the scenes in getting everything finalised. Tyrone’s draw with Kildare — many people’s banker — eliminated 291 entries, while Tomás Kennedy’s dramatic buzzer-beater saved the bacon of 346 entrants.
