As we turn the page into February, the wait for football is finally over. We are delighted to announce the opening fixtures for the senior season, beginning this coming weekend with the Lee Strand Town League, followed by the highly anticipated return of the County League in March.

Our campaign begins at home this Sunday, February 8th, as we welcome Churchill to Strand Road. We’re looking for a big home crowd to get the year off to a winning start, throw in @ 1.00 PM

The following weekend, we play host to host the newly crowned All-Ireland Junior Champions, Ballymacelligott, in what promises to be a big test for the squad. We wrap up the Town League on the weekend of the 22nd with a short trip across town to face Austin Stacks in Connolly Park.

Credit Union County League

Looking further ahead, the County League swings into action on the weekend of March 15th. In a mirror image of last year’s start, we travel away to Kilcummin for the opening round.

We then return to Strand Road on the weekend of March 29th to host Beaufort.

Our B team will play in division 7A and will kick off their season on the weekend of 15th March also with an away game to John Mitchels.
