And we’re back! Our first training session took place on Sunday last in the amazing Kerry Sports Academy. What a fantastic turn out with big numbers in attendance for all age groups of girls and boys. It was lovely to see familiar faces return and a lot of new faces who we look forward to watching develop their skills under the guidance of our wonderful coaches.
A huge welcome to our new girls and boys and many thanks to your parents for bringing you.
The boys were delighted playing on the AstroTurf in the IT last Sunday. Training continues at 12p.m. next Sunday.
Juvenile Academy training continues in Kerry Sports Academy next Sunday 9th February at 12 noon. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you all there. If your child is interested in joining please come along next Sunday or contact Adrian on (085) 1500199. The Juvenile academy would also like to congratulate our own present and former players Tommy Walsh, Gavin O’Brien and Mike Quirke on their wins this weekend.
We went back indoor training on Sunday from 12p.m. – 1p.m. in the IT, North Campus. We had great numbers and are hoping to see a few more next Sunday. We will be training for the next 3 Sundays indoors so no excuses about the weather. Big attendance needed as town league will be starting very shortly.
The u14s went back training last Friday night from 7p.m. – 8p.m. in John Mitchels. We were missing a few players due to other commitments but a big attendance is expected next week ahead of the Gaeltacht blitz which we take part in on the 16th Feb and Town League which will take place in the next two weeks.
The boys will be back training very shortly, but as many have their mock exams next week, the books will have to take priority for now. Best of luck to all sitting exams.
A text will be sent as soon as all training details are finalised. Barry O Shea has been appointed manager and his selectors will be Oliver Molloy, Michael Mc Mahon and Philip O Connor. We wish them all the best.
