U10 Girls
Unfortunately the Killarney Legion blitz had to be cancelled because of the weather last Saturday. The girls were looking forward to it followed by a trip to McDonalds. Instead we had lovely hot chocolate and treats in Charlie’s Bar & Restaurant. We met the U16 Kerry ladies while in the club and the girls had their photo taken with them. Many thanks to the U16s who took time out after their training session to take photos.
U12 Girls
Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday. This week we are home to Ballyduff in the North Kerry League. Congrats to Ciara who spoke very well on Radio Kerry about climate change during the week. Best wishes to our young ladies who will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation during the week. Have a lovely day!
U14 Girls
The Kerins O’ Rahilly’s U14 girls finally got their 2019 campaign underway against a very strong Rathmore side in the county league division 2 last Sunday in Ballyrickard. The Pitch was in a very soft condition and therefore hard on the legs. Nevertheless, the Kerins O’Rahilly’s girls had a massive first half playing into the wind and had a nine-point advantage at half time. The Blues kept the pressure on in the second half and the final score was Kerins O’Rahillys 8-04, Rathmore 2-04. As a team the girls played fantastically well, in particular Kelly Fitzgerald in goals. Next week we are home to ISG – more details to follow. Best wishes are also extended to the girls who will be confirmed during the week. Enjoy!
U16 Girls
Our first county league game is fixed for March 28th. AstroTurf training continues on Wednesday. Please be there for 7.40p.m. We extend our condolences to Con and his family on the death of his Uncle Tommy. May he Rest In Peace.
Minor Ladies
We were away to Listowel Emmets last Saturday. Well done to the girls for braving the wintry weather. We were short many of the older girls due to work commitments etc, but our U16s came to the rescue – thanks to all the younger girls!
The cold and rain have played havoc over the last month all over the country which contributed to Saturday’s very wet and slippery pitch. Thankfully nobody got hurt.
We have a bye for our next fixture.
Junior Ladies
In our first game we are home to Clounmacon. Best of luck ladies.
