The US Masters (postponed from April) will now take place in Augusta Georgia commencing on Thursday 12th Nov reaching a finale on Sunday 15th.
The Masters has been an important annual fundraiser for our club for several years and makes for compulsive viewing as supporters follow the fortunes of their chosen sextet of players over the four days.
This year, in a year like no other, the Masters continues to raise much needed funds for the club and in keeping with many other initiatives supporters can now also play online by clicking on the following link – the facility is operated in association with Clubforce with payment details fully encrypted.
Chairman Haulie Kerins launched this year’s drive on Monday last and whilst acknowledging the hardships endured by many during this pandemic, he emphasized the club’s ability to fund-raise has been severely impacted due to Covid and on this basis, Haulie is appealing to all associated with the club including diaspora abroad, to participate to make it our best masters ever. Of course, participation is not confined to club members and is open to all.
Participants pick the six golfers they think will do the best in the US Masters – from the list of professionals on the card – and put the players numbers on a line (see the photos below for more details on how to enter). Initial line costs €10 with additional lines costing €5 each.

First prize is €500, second place gets €150 and third receives €100.
Entry cards are available from Jimmys on Strand Road, Rock St Post Office, club officials or players and must be returned by 6pm on Wednesday, Nov 11th.
