U-16s:
Austin Stack Park was the setting on Weds night last ( 15th) for our division 3 final vs Knock/Brosna/Duagh. We started well with an early goal from Daniel Bowler but despite another major from Jack Savage we were two points in arrears at half time; we reduced the deficit and then took the lead only for a converted penalty from KBD to leave them leading by 3 points as the final minutes approached – Conor O’Sullivan lofted a high ball to the square which was finished to the net by Enis Reka resulting in an additional 2o minutes extra time being played- however, we were unable to match the opposition for strength in this period and finished losing by 4 points, 3-20 to 4-13.
Well done to all the lads, to Ray, Mazie and JT for their efforts in the past few months.

There were huge crowds present for the annual event played last Sat with our own team being unlucky to not to make the semi finals – Aghabullogue from Cork were the winners of the cup whilst Listowel took away the shield.
U-14:
The Central Region final will take place on this coming Weds night, 22nd in Ballymac vs Laune Rangers @ 7 PM.
U-15:
There was heartbreak for North Kerry U-15s on Sat in Tullamore when going down in the final to Cork on a final score line of 3-11 to 1-09, a score line that does not fully reflect the closeness of the game.
Having defeated Louth ( 3-16 to 0-06) in the first round and then Kerry South in the semi final ( 4-04 to 2-05) North Kerry came out against Cork with all guns blazing and raced into a 1-05 to NIL lead inside the opening 10 minutes – further chances flowed but were not availed of and the Cork lads gradually worked their way into the game running out winners in the end by 8 points. Well done to Jerome Daly and bainisteoir Mark Fitzgerald who both played in their parts throughout the year with this squad.
