A family meal in the Abbey Inn resulted in further celebrations for the Moynihans from Farmers Bridge as their son Rian was the recent winner of our lotto jackpot of €5,300.
Jamie, Michelle Rian & Saoirse were meeting up with some family friends when they purchased tickets with Rian picking the lucky numbers – little did they know that they would be receiving a phone call on the following Tuesday to inform them of their good fortune.
Rian along with his dad Jamie and sister Saoirse were presented with their cheque recently in Strand Road and while Rian would only say that he had been to Smyths toys recently, I would not rule out a return visit now that the funds are in his pocket!
