Our Senior Ladies made it six out of six on Wednesday night, with a comprehensive win over Knock Brosna at Brosna GAA grounds.
The home side were well able for us for the first ten minutes, but our girls soon found their rhythm and we had accrued a significant lead by half time.
Changes were made at the break, and we were able to take off our three minors – fresh from their Division 3 final victory on Monday night – and replace them with some of our returning senior players.
Great to see Eabha Murphy return from injury and play an important part in our second half dominance.
Showing great team work and some lovely passages of play, this was another impressive performance from a group of players growing in confidence with every game.
Well done girls!
We have no game for about a month, but more challenges lie ahead in June, with games against Churchill, Listowel and Beale.
While it’s great to be sitting on top of Division 3, there’s no room for complacency, so we’ll continue to train twice a week and work hard.
It’s been a hectic week, so we’ll take a break from training this Friday night, and re-group on Tuesday evening at Ballyrickard at 7pm.
Important to get everyone to training from now on, let’s keep the momentum going.
