A massive congratulations from everyone at Kerins O'Rahillys to our very own Tomás Kennedy, who has been officially named in the 2026 Dalata Hotel Group All-Ireland U20 Football Team of the Year! 

Earning a spot on the Team of the Year is a phenomenal achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and immense talent Tomás has shown all season. He was a driving force for Kerry throughout the U20 campaign, starting in key positions as the team successfully navigated a highly competitive Munster campaign and pushed forward onto the national stage. 

Throughout the championship journey, Tomás stood out as a leader and an elite performer when the stakes were highest. The All-Ireland final against Tyrone at Croke Park was a typically mature and impactful outing, as he played a massive leadership role on the field to help guide the Kingdom to a convincing national victory. 

This prestigious national accolade caps off what has been an incredible few weeks for Tomás, who of course already has a senior All-Ireland medal after his exploits with Kerry last year. He continues to form an important part of the senior panel this year having started the Munster Final against Cork in Killarney a few weeks ago.

To see a Strand Road man representing the club with such distinction on the national stage is a source of immense pride for his family, his friends, his coaches, and every member of the club. His inclusion on the Team of the Year alongside five of his Kerry teammates reflects the unbelievable talent coming out of the county.
