Healy Park is a vital part of the local community, and recent efforts have been made to enhance the facilities. While progress is evident, there's a clear focus on continuing to improve the grounds for players and spectators alike.

Positive steps have been taken with the recent upgrades to two of the dressing rooms. These improvements aim to provide a more comfortable and modern environment for players.

However, it's recognized that further remedial work is necessary on the remaining two dressing rooms. This highlights the club's commitment to ensuring all players have access to quality facilities.

Pitch maintenance is an ongoing process, and the club is dedicated to preserving the playing surface. Regular efforts are made to keep the pitch in optimal condition.

Goal Mouth Repairs
Particular attention is paid to the goal mouth areas, which experience significant wear and tear. Consistent repairs are carried out to maintain a level playing field. This area represents the next undertaking and will be hopefully completed shortly.
General Maintenance:
Along with the goal mouth areas, the general maintenance of the pitch is also very important.

Fencing Completion:
Plans are in place to complete the fencing along Strand Road. This will enhance the security and overall appearance of the grounds

Viewing Area Improvements:The club is also exploring possibilities for improving the viewing areas. This would provide a more enjoyable experience for spectators attending matches and events.

The club's dedication to ongoing development is clear. By addressing current needs and planning for future improvements, the club is working to ensure its facilities remain a valuable asset to the community.

Countless hours of voluntary labour have gone into upgrading the dressing rooms and maintaining the pitch, saving the club significant costs. However, while the hands are willing and the work is free, the materials required for these upgrades represent a substantial financial burden. Our ongoing fundraising efforts, including our annual 10k run, the club's weekly lotto, the Last Man Standing and Augusta Masters Challenge provide a vital lifeline, but the reality is that they only go so far in meeting the full scope of our development needs.
